QA Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Engineers with 1–4 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of software products or embedded systems used across IT and manufacturing domains. You will work closely with development, product, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality across various platforms and devices.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and daily stand-ups in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing as required.
  • Contribute to the development of automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Support testing efforts for both web-based systems (IT) and manufacturing/automation tools, depending on project needs.
  • Stay current on testing tools, trends, and best practices to continuously improve QA processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases, bug tracking, and test reporting.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, TestNG, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis) and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Exposure to API testing, mobile app testing, or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process validations or GxP/regulatory compliance (for Manufacturing-related QA).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
